The PreK classroom (5 year olds)
We are the 5-year-olds, and we are a brand new classroom at Turn the Page. Next year, we will bid farewell and continue on our path to kindergarten, but for now, we enjoy being the oldest class in our center.
Welcome to Our Room
In this class, students receive learning through all areas of development: intellectual, language, physical, and social-emotional, within an appropriate early childhood environment. This integrated curriculum focuses on all areas such as literacy, numeracy, science, social studies, and the arts.
In PreK, we incorporate structure and routines to help students develop school behaviors that support a positive learning environment. School behaviors include working with others, listening as another is speaking, making choices, taking turns, problem-solving, and building peer relationships.
